The news: Emerson has decided that waking his parents up twice to take care of him during the night is passe, but he's not willing to go too far with this radical new sleeping through the night thing. After sleeping all night long two days in a row, Emerson figured that waking up one time was a good compromise.
Emerson has also learned how to move, rolling over from lying on his back to kissing the floor on his front. His head is held higher, and his arms and legs desperately paddle the floor as he tries to figure out his next step: picking himself up so that he can crawl.
As you can see below, spitting up and babbling are getting to be second nature to the kid.
